To Blog or not to Blog…

I have been desperately trying to get the new blogsite up and running and well as you can tell by my website (argh) it isn’t as smooth a transition as I had planned in my well bubble world. I just am popping in to let you all know that I am working hard at getting it up and running… I have been in contact with my provider and am assured that it is in the works trying to make sense of what I may have done. Thank goodness for help when you aren’t quite what you thought you were. Hold tight for a blog-fest. I have some amazingly fun sessions I am dying to get online.

A week to go… Patiently waiting for Baby #2

Seriously how cute is he peeking into the crib? I had so much fun shooting this family, especially since I have now shot their first maternity and baby and get to be so lucky that I have been invited back into their lives to watch their family grow… this week! Yes check out how absolutely beautiful she looks only one week before her due date! So not fair! But I am happy for those who get to be that lucky!

First Wedding of 2009 and wow… Meghan & Luke at the convocation centre.

First off, thank you Meghan and Luke for the opportunity to be a small part of such a big day. I had so much fun! You really did keep me running though. I believe we may be able to check the record books for fastest service in history haha, When you said it would be short I though we were talking 25 mins or so, not 11 or 12!! I like your style though, just get it done and get to the good part, which is inevitably the rest of your lives together.

For those of you who don’t know this couple, it is really one of those unions that just had a great easy air about them. They compliment each other so well and seemed to have such a wonderful respect and understanding of each other, with or without the words. I love shooting weddings that just feel so right. Your whole day was absolutely beautiful and I found it so difficult to decide which ones to blog, I just couldn’t seem to choose. I am adding some now and will do more as I play!

As I said, I have many more to add and will do so as I complete them… Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Funky Family Session in Edmonton

I knew when my friend Paula asked me to shoot her family that it would be one of those sessions that you don’t want to stop editing. We knew we wanted to go with an urban feel for these and planned for some great outdoor downtown locations but then the weather turned for the worst and with it being in Edmonton we found an amazing location with just fantabulous light. The session was too fast, those 3 hours were just gone too soon, I had so much fun seeing you guys again, and shooting a family who really let me roll with the punches was so great. I love that you brought so many clothes and accessories, that soooooo rocked!

Thanks guys, here are some and I will add more as I edit. I can’t seem to stop!

I will let you know when we are ready to move ahead guys, good nite, it is 2am almost and I am edited out!

Snow+Cute Couple= Cool Engagement Session

I had fun in the snow, haha, maybe more than this wonderful couple who agreed to play outside for this session. I tell you, I can tell it has been a while since I have been editing and trying to be efficient. Seriously, I have been having so much fun editing that I am proven to be VERY indecisive. So here are some from your session Kelly, sorry to make you run outside to see if they are there yet!!

Okay, well editing those has officially taken me waaaay too long but I had so much fun and I only spend that much time on images I am loving!

Thanks for putting up with me in the cold, I have a way of turning on a switch that ignores anything, cold, hot, tornadoes, in order to get the shot!
